Why I enjoy volunteering for the Hospital Foundation:
Prior to being a member of the Foundation Board for six years, I had the pleasure of working with other volunteers who also were there to assist and participate in many of the activities to raise funds for our hospital. Because of this very good relationship and leadership of past and present Coordinators, my desire was to continue and be active in assisting in these fund raisers such as the Annual Health Run, Golf Tournament, Red Carpet Dinner, biennial Radio Telethon and some administrative functions. Being involved for me meant that in a small way I am able to contribute towards the betterment of state-of-the-art equipment and other services for the hospital and in turn for our community.
