The Friends of the Hospital represent more than 100 volunteers offering efficient and competent services to promote and improve the quality of life of beneficiaries who are hospitalized.

Our Mandate

• To organize and coordinate the activities of individuals who voluntarily and graciously give their time for the benefit of the hospital and its clientele.
• To ensure that a sufficient number of volunteers provide efficient and competent assistance in order to improve the services and the programs offered by the hospital personnel, in accordance with hospital policies.

Administrative Structure
The Friends are now incorporated. They received their charter on
December 11, 2006 and now elect a Board of directors composed
of nine (9) administrators:

The liaison between The Friends and the Foundation Board of Directors is assured by Mireille Lauzon Dauth, President of the Friends, while the liaison between the Friends and the hospital administration is assured by Claire Diamond, Coordinator of Volunteers Services.
