Through our various programs, our Human Resources Service is committed to the development and well-being of the hospital employees and volunteers.

Recognition Program
Our objective is to give positive feedback to our employees, physicians and volunteers for their contribution to the achievement of our hospital's values and goals. The Recognition Committee acknowledges the need for employees to be shown appreciation, not only for the number of years of service but also for their accomplishments and their efforts, individually or as part of a team or service.

Recognition can be in the form of an Outstanding Service Award (the highest award available at HGH) or through one of the PILLARS OF RECOGNITION : Worklife, Effort, Values, Growth, Innovation/Creativity and Quality. Years of Service Awards are also recognized through a well-organized Recognition Day and Evening. Recognition is not only for our Employees but also for our Physicians and Volunteers. Recognition is carried out on both personal and public levels, with sharing of accomplishments in our hospital newsletter, Le/The Dialogue.

Education Program
Our focus is to be a continuous learning organization. Education is encouraged and supported through the Personal Education Plan, in-service training on clinical and non-clinical subjects as well as external training. With a well-developed request, follow-up and feedback program, we can monitor needs and outcomes thus further promoting the learning process.

Additional perks
Free parking facilities, Employee Assistance Program, after-hour use of a small in-hospital gymnasium, chance of using day or evening passes in a public gymnasium, etc.
