Accreditation
Accreditation is a very efficient tool used by health organizations to evaluate their performance. The Accreditation is granted by the Canadian Council on Health Services Accreditation.
The Accreditation process is:
- a self-evaluation done by teams made up of employees, physicians, volunteers and patients;
- a visit by health professionals from other healthcare centers
- an assessment report and a follow-up procedure for the improvements do be made
The last visit from the Canadian Council on Health Services Accreditation was on September 2004 when our hospital was granted a three-year accreditation award.
Our voluntary participation in the accreditation process attest to our commitment to offer quality care and services to our community.
