$1 Million for Planning of the Redevelopment Project

ONTARIO SUPPORTS PLANNING FOR REDEVELOPMENT OF HAWKESBURY & DISTRICT GENERAL HOSPITAL

Ontario is providing a $1 million capital grant to Hawkesbury & District General Hospital to develop a proposal and business case for a redevelopment project to help the Hospital meet future community health care needs and improve access to care.

The grant will be used to help develop a plan for future capital redevelopment intended to: create dedicated space for ambulatory care programs; address growth pressures in chronic care, the emergency room and surgical suite; and, improve the location of the critical care and obstetrical units.
