The Hôpital Général de Hawkesbury & District General Hospital is looking for physicians in the following disciplines:
Internal Medicine
Position Description
The HGH is recruiting an additional General Internist to complement a team of
two full-time Internists. The HGH offers a wide range of opportunities to
the General Internist (ex.: Diabetic Clinic, CHF Clinic and COPD Clinic).
Members of the Department of Medicine have a collegial relationship with
one-full time equivalent Cardiologist. A bilingual physician is a great
asset but a unilingual physician will be accepted.
Call Arrangements
Our General Internists are not required to be on-call

Patient Volume
Some indicators of the annual volume
of activity:
33,000 visits to the Emergency Room
27,700 visits in external clinics
2,500 admissions
Compensation

Fee for service
-
Signing bonus (up to $50,000 for
a full-time General Internist)

No office overhead

Teaching Opportunity
Opportunity to preceptor and mentor
medical students and residents.
