Election for The Friends and Donation for a Fetal Monitor

At the annual meeting of The Friends of the Hospital, the volunteers elected their Executive. The following people accepted a term of office:

Thérèse Bruneau, as Treasurer, Simone Lecompte, Director of the Gift Shop, Annette Pilon, Director of the Pastoral Care, Laura Perreault, Director Patient Care Services, Yolande Mullin, Director of Palliative Care and Diane Carrière, Director Human Relations.

The executive is also made up of Mireille Lauzon Dauth, Vice-President and Secretary as well as Diane Carrière, President. Their mandates were not up for renewal this year.

Jeanne D’Arc Bertrand and Cécile MacGregor whose mandate as Treasurers ended this year chose not to renew. The group acknowledge the great job these two volunteers did for a number of years.

Special Presentation

During the meeting, The Friends presented a cheque for $15 000 to Ron Conway and Jean Sirois, respectively President and Director of our hospital Foundation.The money will be used to purchase a Fœtal Monitor for babies.
