New Patient Visiting Hours
In order to prevent the risk of infection and to improve the care and rest periods needed by our hospitalized patients, we had to modify the visiting hours as follows:
2 visitors per hospitalized patient
from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and
from 6:30 p.m. to 8 :30 p.m. except to the following
places:
Emergency Room:
at all times, one attendant can go in the examination / treatment rooms with the patient.
Observation Rooms at the Emergency:
1 visitor per patient, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and
from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Operating Room:
1 attendant per patient, (1 parent only with a
child). For endoscopies and minor surgeries
without anesthesia, the attendant must wait in the
Emergency waiting room.
Obstetrics:
Maximum of 2 attendants with the mother in labor or
during the birthing period, then 2 visitors (other
than the partner) per patient, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
and from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
EXCEPTIONS: Critically ill patients or patients in Palliative Care, no time restriction on visits, maximum 2 visitors per patient.
Terminally ill patients, no time restriction on visits, number of visitors as per patient’s request.
VISITORS:
·Please do not bring any food in the patients’ rooms.
·We would ask you not to visit our patients if you are feeling unwell or feverish, as you may be infectious.
·Wash your hands as often as you can. Posters will be inviting you to use the Purell dispensers as often as possible.
