A Certificate of Achievement from the Ontario College of Family Physicians for Dr. Lyne Souligny
Colleagues submitted the nomination of Dr Lyne Souligny to publicly recognize her as a physician who, through her daily practice of medicine and public service, exemplifies those fundamental qualities and characteristics of excellent family physicians and community members as promoted by the Ontario College of Family Physicians and the Canadian College of Family Physicians.
Apart from providing care to her clients at the office, Dr. Souligny closely works with the educators of the Eastern Ontario Health Unit and the providers of the Youth Clinic. She shows a keen interest in getting involved with improving the type of care available to children. She also publicizes to young adults, the issues around contraception.
By being involved in the community, Dr. Souligny demonstrates her sensitivity to the needs of the youth and the importance she has for health promotion and sickness prevention. Good communicator, she readily accepts to share her knowledge by making presentations to her peers. She is an excellent collaborator with other health care providers and deserves to be recognized for her contribution.
