Under the volunteer program of The Friends of the Hospital, students can also play a role with patients. The program calls for periods of a few hours per week, after school or on Saturday or Sunday. Their role: help patients according to needs. A student must have the following pre-requisites and qualities:
- To be in secondary school (16 years old and older), college or university and be able to speak and/or understand both official languages;
- To be able to feed those who can't do it by themselves;
- To be mature, discreet and responsible;
- To respect one's commitment.
