The Diagnostic Imaging Department aims to strive for excellence through professional quality health care provided to its clients by qualified and dynamic experts dedicated to promote human values at the Hawkesbury & District General Hospital.
Its bilingual and multidisciplinary team work together to meet the needs and the well-being of the population.
A team of 11 radiologists read and interpret the results of the examinations and ensure that a diagnostic follow-up is made at all times. Some ultrasound and fluoroscopic procedures are performed by radiologists by appointment only.
The transcript of all reports is done by medical secretaries taking into consideration that all urgent cases have precedence over normal reports.
