Children's Rehabilitation

The Children’s Rehabilitation Program of Eastern Ontario offers these services to children and infants of Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec:

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY Occupational Therapists provide assessments and treatment plans designed to help the child become as functionally independent as possible for the activities of daily living such as dressing, feeding and toileting.  Therapy involves improving hand skills and perceptual-motor abilities.

PHYSICAL THERAPY Physical Therapists provide assessments and treatment plans designed to help the child  achieve optimal physical abilities.  Therapy involves improving gross motor skills, balance and coordination.

SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGY  Speech-language Pathologists provide assessments and treatments designed to help the child communicate more effectively.  Therapy is directed toward language and speech motor development and providing non-speaking children with alternative systems of communication.  Training is provided for technical devices to aid communication.
