There are three steps to your discharge from the hospital:
- Your physician must write a discharge order in your chart.
- Your physician or a member of the nursing staff will inform you about your discharge.
- The nursing staff will assist you in organizing your discharge from the hospital.
On the day of your discharge, we ask that you leave the hospital before 11 a.m.
